Pick-Up & Departure
- Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up at 08:00 am by an air-conditioned bus. The first stop will be at the diving center in the Old Market area, where you’ll receive a short briefing about the day’s itinerary and can rent snorkeling equipment if needed.
- Your professional guide will show you on the map all the amazing spots you’ll visit during the excursion.
- Afterward, enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive through the desert landscape to reach the Panorama of Ras Mohamed and the iconic Gate of Allah.
Gate of Allah – Symbol of Peace and Faith
- Discover the Gate of Allah, one of the most iconic landmarks inside Ras Mohamed National Park. This monumental stone arch was built by an Egyptian engineer after the October War using massive concrete blocks.
- Later, it was noticed that the design naturally resembled the word “Allah” in Arabic script — a beautiful coincidence that made it a spiritual symbol of peace and unity. Every visitor stops here to take unforgettable photos against the golden desert landscape of Ras Mohamed.
Mangrove Channel
- Next, Discover the unique Mangrove Channel at Ras Mohamed National Park — a 250-meter natural canal formed millions of years ago by a powerful earthquake. Surrounded by rare mangrove trees found in only four regions of the world, this peaceful spot is a true natural wonder. Swimming is not allowed to protect the ecosystem, but it’s perfect for amazing photos and nature lovers.
Magic Lake
- Then we stop at the Magic Lake, also called the Lake of Wishes. Its water changes color several times a day because of sunlight and minerals in the sand.
- Bedouins believe that if you swim and throw a small stone into the lake while making a wish, it may come true. It’s one of the most beautiful and colorful places in the park.
Snorkeling at Ras Mohamed by Bus
- Enjoy around 45 minutes of snorkeling at Ghozlani, Marsa Brake, or El SUEZY Beach, where you’ll discover colorful coral reefs and rich marine life beneath the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea.
- This stunning area is home to sea turtles, crabs, tropical fish, and more than 200 species of coral — making it a paradise for both beginners and experienced snorkelers alike.
Return to Hotel
- Around 13:30, you’ll return to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh after a wonderful morning discovering the natural beauty of Ras Mohamed.
